We adopt a person-centred care approach which ensures our residents are treated with respect and dignity at all times.
Each home has a Manager who is supported by a team of nurses and senior care assistants/care assistants. Our commitment to providing the highest level of care is exemplified by the role of our Quality and Governance Lead, Wendy Shannon. Wendy ensures that effective risk management and governance procedures are in place to ensure safe and effective care is provided within industry regulations. In Northern Ireland, this role is exclusive to our company.
All residents receive personalised care plans that outline details of their care requirements and recognise and respect individual preferences and needs. They are also assigned a key worker who will assist and encourage them to remain active and engaged with families, friends, leisure pursuits and personal grooming and help them communicate changing needs to other members of the team.
With our own catering teams and onsite kitchens in each location, we ensure residents receive a healthy, well balanced and tasty diet – and all special dietary requirements or preferences can be catered for.
Our team regularly liaise with other health care professionals as necessary including social workers, chiropodists, community psychiatric nurses, dieticians, GPs, opticians, physiotherapists and speech and language therapists.
